About

Dear Visitor,

Permit me to introduce myself. I am the Owner of JPB TRANS CONSULTING, LLC and creator of this Website and Blog. I am a lecturer, writer and consultant in air transportation. My professional career has been in the airline industry. I am currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Westminster (London, UK) and a Visiting Lecturer at Emirates Aviation University (Dubai). I was formerly an Adjunct Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I served in the US Navy and Naval Reserve and am also interested in the Law.

One of my many interests over the years has been photography and writing, and in particular, telling a story through photographs and images. Because my career has allowed me to travel extensively all over the world, I have been able to amass a large collection of photographs of things in which I am interested: airliners, trains, Navy and merchant ships, sports and scenes of the city and countryside that catch my eye. These photographs date back to the 1960s and number in the hundreds. Because I want to preserve them, I am in the process of scanning them. I am also making them into digital prints, many of which now or will appear on this website or in a blog.

In addition to photography, I enjoy running, golf, hill walking, sailing, model railroading, spectator sports, classical music and writing.  Below is my biography.

 Kindest regards,

Jamie Baldwin
